Please join us for the inaugural Green Days Garden Walk at the Terra Park.
Visitors can walk the bike trail from the parking areas. Along the way you will be greeted with many blooming perennial flowers such as butterfly milkweed, coneflower, penstemon, baptisia, spiderwort, and many more. You will also find four information boxes that will tell you interesting information about the prairie, with one featuring a children’s activity.
Parking is available at the First Baptist Church, 8250 NW 62nd Avenue. Limited parking is available at the Green Meadows West HOA Park, located at the intersection of King’s Row and Windsor Parkway. Signs will direct you from the parking lot to the bike trail.

Join staff from Johnston Public Library at this special outdoor play time. We will offer different types of play prompts, sensory bins, and a craft to take home! Geared towards ages 3 and up, but all ages are welcome! From 9 to 10 a.m. at the pavilion near the Terra Park Playground.
Join us for a self-guided Story Stroll! Families will enjoy strolling along sidewalks near Terra Park while reading a picture book which is displayed on posts along the sidewalk. For all ages, available all-day Saturday near the Terra Park Playground Pavilion.
